Dr Ng Kheng Siang is currently a Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist in private practice at Gleneagles Hospital. Prior to leaving for private practice in November 2005, Dr Ng was the Director of Arrhythmia Service at The Heart Institute, National Healthcare Group, Head of Cardiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Senior Cardiologist, Cardiac Department at National University Hospital and Clinical Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Medicine, Department of Medicine at National University Of Singapore. He is now a Visiting Cardiologist to the Cardiac Department of National University Hospital, the Cardiology Department of Alexandra Hospital and the Medicine Department of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He is also a member of North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE), now known as Heart Rhythm Association (HRA).

After obtaining his MBBS in 1984 in Singapore, he went on to attain his post-graduate degree in MRCP in 1989. In 1994-95, he was attached to the Arrhythmia Service at Stanford University Medical Centre, USA. There, he trained in Cardiac Electrophysiology/ Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation and Permanent Pacemaker/Implantable Cardioverter- Defibrillator, which are highly specialized treatments for both supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias. To date, he has performed a total of more than 1,000 such procedures.
