    • How do I make an appointment?
      You can set an appointment with us by calling 2611883 ext 2253 or you can drop by our Specialist Outpatient Clinic.
       
    • Other than Saturday appointments, can I book other days?
      No, the screening packages are only available on Saturday.
       
    • If I cannot reach you via phone call, what other alternatives can I opt for?

    • What does the health screening involve?
      It will involve consultation, blood test investigations and cardiac screening procedures such as ECG, ECHO and CT Angio.
       
    • What are the benefits of doing this health screening?
      This health screening will help you to detect the risk of heart disease including heart failure, coronary artery disease and heart valve malfunction.
      From this health screening, you will also know whether you are at risk of diabetes, high cholesterol, cancer marker etc.
       
    • How many times am I required to come to the hospital for the health screening?
      You will be required to come to the hospital 3 times to undergo the complete screening. The first visit will be the Pre-Screening for all tests and consultation, the second visit will be to undergo the CT Angio procedure after we received your blood test result, and the final visit will be the consultation for the overall result of your chosen package.
       
    • How long will it take for me to know the results?
      Complete results will be provided within three (3) weeks.
       
    • Are there any procedures involving needles?
      Yes, only for blood tests and CT Angio procedure.
       
    • If I visit Gleneagles JPMC, where do I park?
      You can park at the Jerudong Park Food Court where they will be a shuttle bus available to take you to Gleneagles JPMC or you can also park at Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) multi-storey car park.
  • Pre-Screening Guidelines
    • For registration purposes, kindly bring along your IC or passport.
    • You are advised to be here at least 15mins earlier or be punctual for your appointment to avoid longer waiting time.
    • You are required to bring along any past medical reports, X-ray films or medications (if any).
    • For your comfort and convenience, you are advised to wear a two-piece outfit.
    • Since most of the screening tests require fasting, for blood investigation please abstain from food and drinks for at least 12 hours before your scheduled appointment. Drinking plain water is allowed during the fasting period. However, CT Angio, requires you to fast for at least 6 hours and you are not allowed to take any food or drinks.
    • Do not take any diabetic medicine or insulin for diabetes in the morning of the scheduled appointment, except for regular medications for high blood pressure and heart.
    • Do not consume coffee, tea, chocolate-based drinks and carbonated drinks the day before your appointment specifically for CT Angio procedure.
    • You are required to stop smoking the day before your appointment specifically for CT Angio procedure.
    • Specifically for ladies – urine will be collected on the day of blood taking procedure. In case you are having menstruation, we advised you to collect the urine sample 5 days after the end of your menstruation and send it to our Specialist Outpatient Clinic.
    • If you are having a fever, cough or flu, you are advised to call us and reschedule your appointment at least one (1) day before
