We are currently looking for qualified candidates for the following positions:

 

Vascular Surgeon

Gleneagles JPMC is seeking to appoint a full-time Vascular Surgeon. The successful candidate will perform open vascular surgical procedures in both emergency and elective settings. Proficiency in endovascular techniques, particularly peripheral vascular interventions, will be highly valued. The role includes leading the vascular access program and diabetic limb program, contributing to clinical governance and service development, and participating in the training and supervision of junior medical staff. The appointee is also expected to maintain professional competency through ongoing education, audit, and continuous professional development.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Primary Medical Degree, MBBS or equivalent, recognized by the Brunei Medical Board.
  • Post-graduate qualification in General Surgery / Vascular Surgery or equivalent field
  • Board certification or completion of Fellowship in Vascular Surgery or equivalent recognized credential as an added advantage

Staff Nurse (Talent Pool)

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver holistic, patient-centred nursing care using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
  • Perform clinical procedures and coordinate diagnostic tests and treatments
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure effective patient handovers
  • Build therapeutic relationships and provide emotional support, education, and counselling to patients and families
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient journey and continuity of care
  • Apply critical thinking and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
  • Uphold professional standards, ethics, and continuous learning while mentoring junior staff when required
  • Support unit operations, including inventory management, cost control, and acting as team leader when assigned
  • Promote quality, safety, customer service excellence, and efficient use of resources within the ward/unit.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma / BSc in Nursing
  • Post-Basic/ Advanced Diploma in Critical Care/Intensive Care or equivalent
  • Fresh graduate Registered Nurse or 2-4 years of experience as Staff Nurse
