Senior Physiotherapist

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Meet requirements to attain registration with Allied Health Professions Council of Brunei Darussalam.
• At least 6 years of working experience as Physiotherapist in a Cardiac Rehabilitation setting.
• Clinical competency in all cardiac rehabilitation domains.
• Ability to speak both Bahasa Melayu and English will be preferred.
• Willingness to work after working hours (when required) and On-call during weekends and public holidays in rotational basis.
• Good communication, problem solving and interpersonal skill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced assessment and treatment of patients referred for cardiac rehabilitation, including those with multi-pathology and those who have highly complex and / or chronic presentations, to determine clinical diagnosis and treatment indicated and to maintain associated records, as an independent practitioner.
• Participate in evidence-based projects, including recommendations for change in practice and to lead in departmental research and audit within cardiac rehabilitation
• To participate in new initiatives within cardiac rehabilitation services (Cardiac Rehab Phase II/ Heart Failure Programme)
• To develop and deliver exercise rehabilitation and educational materials in a group-based patient setting
• Demonstrates active participation at staff professional development activities (case reviews, workshops, courses, and in-services).
• Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care. Communicate and make recommendations to all relevant disciplines of staff to maximise patient care and promote multidisciplinary team working
