Dr Keyvan Kamalvand

Dr. Keyvan Kamalvand is a senior interventional cardiologist with an extensive background in clinical practice, research, and education. He studied medicine at St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London, earning his MBBS and BSc degrees.

His cardiology training was primarily conducted at Guy’s Hospital, London, and Harefield Hospital, where he developed a strong foundation in both general and interventional cardiology. He pursued research in cardiac devices and atrial fibrillation, culminating in the award of an MD from the University of London.

Dr. Keyvan holds dual accreditation in General Internal Medicine and Cardiology (CCST), which he obtained in the UK in 1998. He served as a Consultant Cardiologist at East Kent NHS Hospitals from 1998 to 2018, followed by appointments at Gleneagles JPMC from 2019 to 2024, and again from 2025 to the present.

He was awarded the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2001, and became a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) in 2003, recognizing his contributions to the field of cardiology on both national and international levels.
