Gleneagles JPMC has reinforced its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing through two separate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, presenting monetary contributions to An-Nur Harapan (Uniklearn) and Yayasan Kanser Kanak-Kanak Brunei (YASKA). The donations, valued at BND 10,000, were presented in the form of a mock cheque by the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr ’Izzul Hamzi bin Haji Jomari, during handover visits at the respective centres.
These contributions aim to support the organizations in continuing their impactful work; firstly, at Uniklearn, in empowering differently-abled youth through skills-building and vocational development, and at YASKA, in providing care, education, and emotional support for children undergoing cancer treatment together with their families. Both organisations play crucial roles in strengthening the nation’s social support ecosystem, and Gleneagles JPMC is honoured to play a part in supporting their efforts.
This CSR initiative reflects the hospital’s broader commitment to giving back to the community, with a focus on improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups. By extending support to these two meaningful causes, Gleneagles JPMC continues to advocate for inclusion, compassion, and better health outcomes for all.
