Gleneagles JPMC was once again honoured to be invited as a key participant in the second international health talk hosted by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Malang, East Java Province, on 22 July 2025. This event is part of an ongoing and growing partnership between Gleneagles JPMC and BSI, aimed at raising awareness about heart health and promoting cross-border medical access in the region.
The event that was hosted on the 22 July 2025, featured Dr. Eugene Sim, Chief of Clinical Services and Director of Cardiac Surgery, and Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon from Gleneagles JPMC, who delivered an insightful presentation on heart health. His talk highlighted the signs and symptoms of heart attacks and emphasised the importance of early detection and lifestyle changes in preventing cardiovascular disease.
Ms. Josephina Yong, Marketing Communications Executive of Gleneagles JPMC also introduced Gleneagles JPMC’s wide range of services and shared the offerings of Brunei as an alternative destination for medical tourism.
Mr. ‘Izzul Hamzi bin Hj Jomari, Chief Operating Officer of Gleneagles JPMC, expressed his appreciation for the continued collaboration with BSI, “events like these allow us to not only share our expertise, but also build stronger ties with key partners like BSI and their clients. This collaboration is an excellent opportunity for Gleneagles JPMC to grow our presence and bring Brunei’s world-class cardiac services closer to Indonesia.”
