Gleneagles JPMC Performs Cardiac Surgeries on Two Timor-Leste Patients

Gleneagles JPMC has strengthened its regional healthcare partnership with the Government of Timor-Leste following the treatment of two male Timorese patients who underwent cardiac procedures at the hospital in July 2026.

The patients were referred for treatment under the healthcare cooperation between the Government of Timor-Leste and Gleneagles JPMC, through the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Brunei Darussalam, represented by His Excellency Ambassador Abel Guterres.

The procedures were carried out by the cardiothoracic surgical team led by Deputy Director of Cardiac Surgery and Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Gleneagles JPMC Pg Dr Md Nadzir bin Pg Juanda. Both patients are now in stable conditions and are expected to return home soon.
