Gleneagles JPMC recently launched its World Heart Day Health Fest 2026 at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas, bringing together the community for a day of fitness, teamwork and friendly competition through HeartROX.

Held in conjunction with World Heart Day, an annual global celebration observed on 29 September, the Health Fest aims to raise awareness and knowledge about cardiovascular health while encouraging the community to take proactive steps towards preventing heart disease through healthier lifestyles and the management of risk factors associated to cardiovascular diseases.

This year’s World Heart Day Health Fest will feature a series of activities held over the coming months, offering the community opportunities to stay active, learn more about heart health and take part in different forms of fitness and recreation.

HeartROX was the first activity held as part of this year’s Health Fest and introduced for the first time as part of Gleneagles JPMC’s annual World Heart Day celebration. The fitness challenge featured 132 teams, comprising 42 Men’s teams, 42 Women’s teams and 48 Mixed Doubles teams, gathering a total of 264 athletes.

Meanwhile, the Pick-A-Heart Challenge will bring the community together through pickleball, featuring Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories.

The Health Fest will also feature a Heart Health Pavilion at upcoming activities, bringing together various Gleneagles JPMC functions and services to provide the public with greater insight into cardiovascular health and care.
